Theoretical isochrones in the HST/ACS HRC VEGAmag system

Note (Jan 2, 2006): the ACS HRC isochrones were replaced today, because of a bug affecting the HRC F220W, F250W and F330W magnitudes (the same bug was affecting isochrone headers too). The previous isochrones were OK in all the other ACS filters. BC tables were OK and were not replaced.

The present directory (isoc_acs_hrc) contain the data files for the HST/ACS HRC VEGAmag system. This is a preliminary release, not yet described in papers. Anyway, before downloading, it will be useful to give a look at Paper I:

  • The Electronic paper describing the bolometric corrections: Theoretical isochrones in several photometric systems I. Johnson-Cousins-Glass, HST/WFPC2, HST/NICMOS, Washington, and ESO Imaging Survey filter sets, by L. Girardi, G. Bertelli, A. Bressan, C. Chiosi, M.A.T. Groenewegen, P. Marigo, B. Salasnich, and A. Weiss, 2002, Astronomy & Astrophysics, 391, 195.
  • The Sirianni et al. (2005) description of the ACS photometric system (including tables with the zeropoints for ABmag and STmag).
  • The Reference table with a summary description of the stellar evolutionary models in use, and their basic references. This allows you to know the differences between the several isochrone files (and better than the minimal table you see below).
  • The readme.txt file (ascii file, 13 Kby), with a field-by-field description of all files in the database.
  • Here you can download the (gzipped) data files:
